Toby Feldman had a long court reporting career in New York City. During this period, she traveled extensively on depositions throughout the world and became quite familiar with local customs regarding legal depositions in the United States and Europe. She worked on numerous high profile cases including The American-Iranian Claims Tribunal The World Court, in The Hague. In 1985, Toby formed Toby Feldman, Inc. and began working with major law firms across the United States. Some of the more memorable cases TFI has handled in the past include Philippines v. Marcos, NY v NJ (Ellis Island), Homeland Security Committee for the Bush White House, and transcription services for the Office of President Clinton.
Toby is vice president and member of a national court reporting association and a proud sponsor of many programs and events that benefit the court reporting, legal and paralegal communities. TFI was a sponsor of the Lawyers Basketball League Court Classic, benefiting the Special Olympics. TFI participates in law school and law firm trial clinics including the Cardozo Law School Trial Clinic, and TFI has received a Certificate of Appreciation from Concerned Legal Professionals. In other words, TFI is an established, stable court reporting firm that is committed, experienced and qualified to handle the most demanding cases.
